Engineering Planner

Engineering Planner - Hertfordshire - Permanent

A biopharmaceutical manufacturing company in Hertfordshire are looking for an Engineering Planner to join them on a permanent basis working Monday to Friday.

The Role:

As an Engineering Planner, you will be responsible for:

• Developing and managing preventive maintenance schedules to minimize downtime.


• Coordinating with maintenance teams and production staff to ensure timely execution of work orders.


• Maintaining accurate spare parts inventory and procurement planning.


• Using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) to track, schedule, and report on maintenance activities.


• Identifying opportunities to improve reliability and efficiency within engineering operations.

• Experience in engineering planning, maintenance coordination, or reliability engineering within a manufacturing environment.


• Strong knowledge of CMMS software and maintenance scheduling tools.


• Excellent organizational and communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across departments.


• A background in mechanical or electrical engineering (preferred but not essential).


• A proactive and problem-solving mindset.
