EL/PL Fee Earner

A highly ranked national firm are seeking an experienced EL/PL multi-track Fee Earner to join their retail casualty team based in Liverpool.

The role involves handling a mix of delegated and non-delegated employer's liability and public liability claims, typically valued between £25k-£150k, while assisting on claims valued up to £1,000,000.

You will play a key role in providing strategic advice, assessing liability and quantum, and delivering outstanding results for clients.

You will also act as a technical lead for at least one key retail client, offering expert guidance, managing client relationships, and supporting internal technical meetings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage a litigated caseload of high-value EL/PL claims.


• Provide strategic advice on liability, quantum, and resolution strategies.


• Draft legal documents, attend court hearings, settlement meetings, and trials.


• Work closely with clients, insurers, and brokers to deliver tailored solutions.
