Role Overview:
The Bookings Manager oversees all booking operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with company policies.
This role involves managing the bookings team, optimizing processes, enhancing customer service, and generating reports to support business decisions.
Effective coordination with other departments and strong leadership are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage Bookings:
- Oversee and ensure accurate, timely bookings in line with company, client, and regulatory requirements.
- Confirm bookings with customers and field workers, resolving discrepancies and driving fill rates.
- Participate in meetings regarding job performance and team deliverables.
Customer Service:
- Support customers and field workers with booking inquiries.
- Address complaints professionally, collaborating with Community Care Leads.
- Build relationships with stakeholders, including community care leads and candidates.
Reporting & Compliance:
- Prepare and analyze booking reports, tracking key metrics for process improvements.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures for booking processes.
Team Coordination & Leadership:
- Collaborate with departments such as Credit Control, Payroll, Recruitment, and Compliance.
- Train, mentor, and manage booking staff, fostering a supportive and high-performance culture.
- Act as a role model, promoting company values and driving team motivation.
- Implement change programs to enhance efficiency.
System Management:
- Oversee and maintain booking systems, implementing improvements as needed.
Qualifications & Experience:
Education:
- Matric (Grade 12) - Essential
- NQF Level 7 or higher - Advantageous
Work Experience:
- Minimum 2 years in a managerial or leadership role within healthcare or a service-related field.
- Proven ability to foster a compassionate and supportive team culture.
- Experience handling sensitive situations with professionalism and emotional intelligence.
- Strong financial acumen and cost-control experience.
- Background in healthcare recruitment - Advantageous.
