Steel Erector

A construction company is seeking 6 Steel Erectors in Brighton, East Sussex.

Salary: £25 per hour

Start Date: 24th March 2025
Type of Work / Duties: Structural steel , beams and columns
Longevity of Contract: 6 months
Hours on site and hours paid: 10 hours
​​​​​​​Ticket: CSCS tickets required
Work Arrangement: On-site
Weekends / Overtime: At stages
Tools: Hand tools only

Duties:
, Erecting structural steel components, including beams and columns, according to specifications
, Collaborating with team members to ensure accurate placement and alignment of steel structures
, Performing safety checks and ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations
, Using hand tools and equipment to secure steel elements in place
, Assisting in the preparation and cleanup of the worksite
, Additional duties as needed
Requirements:
, Valid CSCS card
, Previous experience in steel erection
, Ability to work at heights
, Strong teamwork and communication skills
