Maintenance Engineer

Location: Peterborough
Salary: £50600 + Benefits
Shifts: Weekly Rotating (06:00–14:00 / 14:00–22:00)

A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Multi Skilled Maintenance Engineer to join a forward-thinking manufacturing business in Peterborough on a permanent basis.

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing process equipment to ensure smooth operations, reduce downtime, and enhance plant performance.

Job Responsibilities

• To ensure a high standard of maintenance to attain factory performance goals
• Electrical or Mechanical setup and production support
• Fault finding and repair of breakdowns
• To be fully aware of factory safety issues and work in a safe manner at all times
• Performance of preventive maintenance
• Fabrication and installation of plant machinery under supervision

Person Specification

What We’re Looking for in a Maintenance Engineer:

• Recognised apprenticeship (City and Guilds, NVQ or equivalent)
• Experience of Production equipment, maintenance in a diverse factory environment
• Dual skilled (Electrical/Mechanical maintenance)
• Good diagnostic skills
• Electrical/Mechanical maintenance experience
• Computer literate (stores systems and Maintenance Management Systems)

Hours of Work, Pay, and Benefits

• £50,600 Per Annum plus annual bonus worth up to £2000
• Overtime paid at x1.5 or x2 depending on hours
• Weekly Rotating Shift Pattern
• 06:00 to 14:00
• 14:00 to 22:00
• 25 days holiday
