A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Construction Solicitor to join a driven and dynamic market leading firm based in Leeds city centre.

This national practice is seeking an ambitious solicitor who can really push the department forward.

The Role

As a Construction Solicitor (Non-Contentious), you will play a key role in managing a diverse caseload of high-quality, complex commercial work, primarily within the health, housing, and emergency service sectors. From project structuring to providing practical advice on a variety of construction matters, you'll take ownership of your cases while collaborating closely with partners and the wider team.

Your expertise will support the growth of the department and help maintain its reputation for excellence in the construction law field.

Key Responsibilities

• Advising clients on a wide range of non-contentious construction matters, with a focus on NEC and JCT contract documents.


• Taking ownership of your caseload while working with partners and colleagues on business development opportunities.


• Drafting and negotiating project documentation, ensuring all advice is commercially sound and practical.

About you

You are a proactive, commercially minded solicitor with a passion for construction law.

You'll have:

• At least 6+ PQE in Construction.


• Strong commercial awareness and excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear, practical advice.


• The drive to engage in business development and expand the firm's client base.
