Are you an experienced Primary Teaching Assistant looking for an exciting new role in a welcoming and well-established school?


Teach Plus are currently working with a 2-form entry primary school in Redbridge, rated ‘Good' by Ofsted, and is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teaching assistant to join their team from April.

As a Primary Teaching Assistant, you will be expected to:



  • Assisting the class teacher with lesson preparation and delivery

  • Providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to enhance learning outcomes

  • Supporting children with SEND, ensuring they have access to a high-quality, inclusive education

  • Encouraging positive behaviour and engagement in lessons

  • Working closely with teachers, SENCOs, and parents to promote pupil progress



The ideal candidate for the Primary Teaching Assistant role will have:



  • Have previous experience working in a primary school

  • Have experience supporting children with SEND

  • Hold a valid DBS on the Update Service or be willing to apply and pay for one

  • Be proactive, patient, and passionate about supporting children's learning

  • Right to work on a full-time basis in the UK

  • Enhanced DBS Certificate
