English & Maths Tutor

ENGLISH & MATHS TUTORS NEEDED

Integra Education are currently recruiting for an experienced teacher or tutor to provide English & Maths tuition to a Year 12 pupil in Preston (PR1) area.

This role will consist of preparing and delivering English and Maths GCSE lessons in accordance with the national curriculum for a pupil who has SEMH needs and is not currently attending school.

Due to the pupil's needs the hours will need to built up gradually to the full allocated hours (funded 12 hours of tuition).

About the role:

• Able to deliver English and Maths lessons - ideally up to GCSE


• Great understanding of the national curriculum


• Personalising lessons to the pupils needs and requirements


• Provide direct questions, immediate feedback and targeted support


• Help students build confidence in their abilities and develop a greater love for learning.

What do you need?

• Previous tuition experience in the UK


• Previous SEMH experience is essential


• Demonstrated ability to plan and deliver lessons in line with the national curriculum


• Strong subject knowledge of English & Maths


• Ability to tailor lessons to the individual pupil needs
