Are you an experienced Primary Teacher or confident ECT ready to take on the challenge of teaching Year 6? Do you thrive on helping pupils succeed in their final year of primary school and supporting them as they transition to secondary education?

Teach Plus is working in partnership with a forward-thinking and inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest, seeking a passionate and dedicated Year 6 Teacher to join their team from September.

This is a fantastic opportunity for a teacher who can inspire, motivate and support pupils through a critical stage of their learning journey.

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality teaching and learning to a Year 6 class


• Prepare pupils for SATs and support their transition to secondary school


• Differentiate learning to meet a range of abilities and needs, including EAL and SEND


• Use data to track progress, set targets, and plan effectively


• Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and colleagues


• Contribute to the wider life of the school and uphold its values

The ideal candidate will have:

• UK Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) - essential


• Proven experience teaching in KS2, ideally in Year 6


• A solid understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation


• Strong classroom management and organisational skills


• A commitment to high standards and inclusive education


• An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service and the right to work in the UK
