Teach Plus is currently working with a welcoming and inclusive 2-form entry primary school in the Becontree area of Barking and Dagenham, committed to delivering high-quality education within a supportive and nurturing environment.

The school is seeking a confident and committed Year 3 Teacher to join their team from September on a full-time basis.

This is an exciting opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inspiring young learners in lower Key Stage 2 and is looking to join a collaborative team with strong leadership.

The school offers a friendly atmosphere, shared planning across year groups, and excellent support for continued professional development.

Please note: this position is not suitable for Early Career Teachers (ECTs).

As a Year 3 Teacher, you will be expected to:
➢ Plan and deliver high-quality, differentiated lessons in line with the KS2 National Curriculum
➢ Support the academic, social, and emotional development of all pupils in your class
➢ Establish a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports learning and wellbeing
➢ Work collaboratively with your year group partner to ensure consistency and shared best practices
➢ Build strong relationships with pupils, parents, and carers to support progress and attainment
➢ Use formative and summative assessment to monitor pupil progress and inform planning

The ideal candidate for this role will have:
➢ A strong understanding of the Key Stage 2 curriculum, particularly lower KS2
➢ Experience teaching in a primary classroom, ideally in Year 3 or a similar year group
➢ A passion for supporting pupils to achieve their full potential
➢ Excellent communication and classroom management skills
➢ UK-recognised teaching qualification with QTS
➢ An Enhanced DBS on the Update Service
➢ The right to work in the UK
