Design Manager

An established architectural metalwork company in Billericay is seeking a Design Manager to oversee a team of five designers.

This is a permanent, full-time, in-office position offering a salary of £70,000, with an immediate start available.

• Hours: Monday-Friday, 8am-4pm


• Salary: £70,000

Responsibilities:

• Manage and mentor a team of five in-house designers


• Oversee all stages of the design process for bespoke architectural metalwork projects


• Collaborate with fabrication and installation teams to ensure smooth project execution


• Liaise with clients and stakeholders to align on design specifications and requirements


• Ensure design accuracy using point cloud data from 3D scanning (preferred but not essential)

Requirements:

• Extensive experience in architectural metalwork design


• Strong proficiency in TEKLA software


• Proven leadership and team management skills


• Must be local or within a reasonable daily commute
