Estimator / Quantity Surveyor

A contractor specialising in civils is seeking an experienced Estimator / Quantity Surveyor role to join their team in West Sussex.

Salary: £50,000 - £65,000
Start Date: ASAP
Work Arrangement: Full-time
Work Hours: 8 AM to 5 PM

Key Responsibilities

, Estimating: Prepare cost estimates for projects ranging from £10K to £3 million.
, Quantity Surveying: Perform QS duties as part of the dual role.
, Project Analysis: Analyze project specifications and plans for accurate cost assessments.
, Client Communication: Liaise with clients to clarify project requirements and provide updates.
, Reporting: Maintain detailed records of estimates and project budgets.

Qualifications

, Experience: 2-4 years of experience in estimating within the construction industry.
, Skills: Strong analytical and numerical skills.
, Software Proficiency: Familiarity with estimating software and tools.
, Education: Relevant qualifications in construction, engineering, or a related field.
