Employment Solicitor

Our client is a full-service regional law firm serving clients across Northamptonshire.

The firm offer a mix of traditional and modern working and are recruiting an Employment Solicitor to join the Employment Partner in their Northampton office.

The Role

Working closely with the Employment Partner, you will be working on a caseload of mainly respondent and some claimant cases including contentious and non-contentious work across settlement agreements, tribunal hearings, pay grievances, discrimination, unfair dismissal, redundancy and TUPE.

Key Responsibilities

• Managing your own caseload of employment matters


• Drafting contracts, staff handbooks, consultancy agreements and settlement agreements


• Advising on redundancy TUPE


• Representing both claimant and respondent clients


• Heavily involved in business development and networking

About You

• Qualified solicitor between 0 - 2 PQE


• Either at least 6 months seat in employment law, or employment paralegal, or fee earner experience


• Strong business development and networking skills


• First class client care skills
