Registered Mental Nurse

Job Role: Registered Mental Nurse.

Location: St Neots/Bury St Edmunds

Pay Rate: Between £28 and £34 per hour

Shift type: Days, Nights, Weekends

Our client is currently operating across two different mental health facilities, One in PE19 and one IP30.

We are looking for dedicated mental health nurses to help fill voids across each site.

This is agency work so allows you to be flexible with the shifts you want to work, we have mostly day shfits available spanning across all 7 days of the week.

However, we are also able to accomodate some night shifts sporadically.

Heres a breakdown of the type of paitent at each site. 

Site in PE19: The specialist service provides assessment, treatment and complex care for people who, due to their acquired brain injury (ABI) or progressive neurological condition (PNC), may present with complex physical health care needs and/or mental health problems.

Some people may also have a history of substance misuse.

Site in IP30: This is a Level 2 rehabilitation service, with 23 beds across two wards.

The service supports women who have a mental health need and/or a diagnosis of a Personality Disorder (PD).

People may also have other co-morbid diagnoses such as mild learning disability and co-existing physical health conditions, or be transitioning from CAMHS services.

Candidates will be required to have the following: 

• A Valid, clean and active NMC Pin
• Up to date mandatory training
• An in date PMVA Certificate
• A valid right to work in the UK (PLEASE NOTE WE ARE NOT ABLE TO OFFER SPONSORSHIP TO ANY CANDIDATE)
