We are working with a leading international law firm in Leeds, who are looking to expand their Healthcare Employment team.

You will work on a varied caseload with a strong emphasis on public sector clients, including NHS bodies, alongside private clients.


This is a friendly, flat structures team with no hierarchy or egos.

The role:


You'll work across a caseload split roughly 70% contentious and 30% advisory.

This will include employment tribunal claims and complex litigation, as well as advisory work linked to joint ventures, TUPE, restructures, and workforce integrations.

The role offers exposure to both public and private sector clients within the healthcare space and beyond.



Key responsibilities



  • Manage and defend Employment Tribunal claims, including multi-day hearings

  • Provide advice on TUPE, redundancy, and organisational change

  • Support disciplinary, grievance, and senior exit processes

  • Advise on advisory matters including joint ventures and service transfers

  • Collaborate with clients and colleagues to deliver high-quality, pragmatic advice

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships



About you?


The ideal candidate will be an ambitious and detail orientated.

You will have:



  • 1-3 years' PQE as a qualified solicitor in employment law

  • Experience handling both contentious and advisory employment matters
