CAD Designer

A glazing & curtain walling contractor based in Kent is looking for an In-House CAD Designer, who will be working alongside two other designers, focusing on aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling systems.

Salary: £45,000
Hours: Mon to Fri, 8:30am - 5:00pm
Start Date: ASAP

Key Responsibilities:

• Create detailed CAD drawings for aluminium windows, doors, and curtain walling


• Work with aluminium profile systems using AutoCAD, LogiKal, and TechDesign


• Collaborate with the internal design team to deliver accurate and timely drawings


• Ensure designs comply with technical and project requirements


• Communicate effectively with the production and installation teams

Requirements:

• Proven CAD experience in aluminium glazing and curtain wall design


• Strong working knowledge of AutoCAD


• Experience with LogiKal and TechDesign


• Solid understanding of aluminium window, door, and curtain walling systems


• Ability to work independently and as part of a small, fast-paced team

Additional Info:

• Fully office-based role (flexibility may be considered over time based on trust and performance)
