
Manufacturing Engineer
Manufacturing Engineer supporting precision instrument manufacture.
Key Skills
Optical Electronics or precision instrument manufacturing.
A degree in Physics, Optics, Electronics or equivalent industrial experience
CAD, reading electronic circuit diagrams, Opto-mechanical assemblies or writing scripts for automated measurements.
ERP Systems
You will contribute to the smooth running of the manufacturing line: kitting of parts, optical sub-assembly, mechanical pre-assembly, optical alignment, system test, performance reports, packing and shipping.
You will be doing
Continuous improvement, lean and 5S suggestions.
Cycle time reduction, cost reduction, quality and reliability initiatives.
Designing and sourcing jigs, tooling and fixtures.
Train Production staff as new processes, tools and product variants are introduced.
