Location: Based in North Yorkshire with travel to sites across North and East Yorkshire - Please note candidates MUST live within a commutable distance to YO(York)

Salary: £35,000 to £50,000 depending on experience

Full-time or part-time positions available

Day shifts, Monday to Friday

Responsibilities of the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, servicing, and maintaining domestic garage doors, both manual and electric, within customers’ homes.

The role requires previous experience in this area, along with a practical approach to ensure a high-quality finish.

Strong attention to detail, safe working practices, and excellent customer service skills are essential.

Skills and Experience required:

We welcome applications from both experienced door engineers and those with transferable skills who are keen to learn.

Candidates must be experienced in servicing and installing domestic garage doors, both manual and electric, within residential properties

Experienced candidates:

• At least three years in the door industry is preferred
• Strong technical knowledge with the ability to solve problems effectively
• Proven track record of high-quality workmanship

Trainee candidates:

• Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn practical skills
• Comfortable with hands-on work and working as part of a team
• Positive attitude and willingness to develop

Essential for all applicants:

• Full, clean United Kingdom driving licence
• Professional, courteous, and well-presented
• Commitment to excellent service and the values of a family-run business
