Technology company is currently looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to join there engineering team in their offices in Buckingham.

As Mechanical Design Engineer you will support design and development of new and existing products ensuring cost effective and reliable solutions.

You will also be responsible for mechanical layouts, technical reviews and documentations.



Key responsibilities:
Working with product owners and other stakeholders to ensure any design is fit for purpose.


Liaison with the production team to ensure that any design is suitable for volume manufacturing.
Managing key suppliers to deliver on time and to an agreed quality.



Skills required for Mechanical Design Engineer in Buckingham:
Experience in Creo or a similar 3D CAD tool, ideally Solid Works
Extrusion, injection moulding experience
Commercial experience in a highly regulated industry, i.e.

aerospace, automotive, medical, defence, or similar.
Strong experience in complexed, detailed, high precision and high tolerance designs
Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, coating would be highly desirable
To hold a relevant degree in Mechanical Engineering
