Workshop Welder Fabricator

1x Workshop Welder Fabricator required for a contract job in Middlesex ASAP.

Rate: £20 per hour
Start Date: ASAP
Contract Longevity: on going
Hours: 07:00 - 17:00 (workshop, with 30 min lunch)
Weekends: Saturdays if required (07:00 - 13:00, paid full shift)

Duties include:

• Fabricating and welding a range of structural steelwork and architectural metalwork such as balustrades, staircases, handrails, brackets, and frames


• MIG welding on mild steel, ensuring clean welds and strong joints


• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and working from cutting lists


• Operating workshop tools and machinery safely for cutting, drilling, and finishing steel components


• Carrying out quality checks to ensure fabricated parts meet specifications before dispatch


• Assisting with workshop organisation, material handling, and general fabrication tasks


• Following health and safety practices within a busy fabrication workshop

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a welder fabricator


• Ability to work accurately and safely in a workshop environment


• No formal tickets required, just solid fabrication experience
