About the role/school

Teach Plus are working with a thriving 3-form entry primary school in Waltham Forest who are seeking a KS2 Teacher to join their supportive team from November.

The school offers shared planning, excellent professional development, and the opportunity for a TLR for the right candidate.

Job Responsibilities

As a KS2 Teacher, you will:




  • Plan, prepare and deliver engaging lessons in line with the KS2 curriculum.




  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to share planning and resources.




  • Create a positive, stimulating classroom environment that encourages pupil progress and independence.




  • Assess, track and record pupil progress, providing feedback and support where necessary.




  • Communicate effectively with parents, carers and the wider school community.




  • Take on additional responsibilities if appointed with a TLR.





Qualifications/Experience

To be successful in this KS2 Teacher role, you will need:
· QTS (Qualified Teacher Status)
· Previous experience as a KS2 Teacher in a primary school setting
· Strong behaviour management and classroom organisation skills
· Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service
· Right to work in the UK
