Job Responsibilities

As an SEN Teaching Assistant, your role will include:




  • Providing tailored 1:1 or small group support to children with Special Educational Needs.




  • Assisting the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging lessons.




  • Supporting pupils' emotional, social, and academic development.




  • Promoting inclusion and ensuring every child feels valued and supported.




  • Working closely with teachers, SENCO, and parents to monitor progress.




  • Helping maintain the school's positive, faith-led ethos.




This SEN Teaching Assistant position is ideal for someone patient, compassionate, and enthusiastic about supporting children to reach their full potential.



Qualifications/Experience

To be considered for the SEN Teaching Assistant role, you will need:




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service




  • Right to work in the UK




  • Prior experience working with children with SEN (desirable)




  • Strong communication and teamwork skills




  • A positive and proactive approach to supporting learning
