Electrical Rotating Machine Repair
Electrical engineering company is looking for a dedicated professional to join their team in the repair and maintenance of motors and generators.
Qualifications
Must hold a qualification in Mechanical Engineering or NVQ equivalent.
Previous experience in an Electro-Mechanical environment is essential.
Preferred knowledge of medium and large electrical rotating machines, including High Voltage, AC and DC motors and generators.
Must use industry equipment safely and effectively during repairs.
Ensure parts are prepared and assembled to required standards for testing.
Assemble machines to QA standards promptly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct thorough inspections and disassembly processes.
Demonstrate a solid understanding of mechanical and schematic drawings.
Perform electrical testing to evaluate machine condition.
Accurately assess AC electric motors and other machinery for damage and wear.
Collaborate effectively with team members and work autonomously when required.
