B2 FLT Counterbalance Driver

We are currently recruiting for an experienced FLT Driver (Counterbalance B2 ) to join a leading manufacturing business based in East Hull (HU9).

Our client is part of a globally recognised group, specialising in the production of high-quality building materials used in commercial buildings, data centres, and infrastructure projects.

• Monday - Friday 8am - 4pm , must also be able to work 6am - 2pm or 2pm - 10pm paid at higher rate.
• paid for 36.5 hours at £13.94 for Dayshift & £15.89 for 6/2/2/10 Rotating Shifts.
  
  per hour, then 39 hours after 12 weeks

Key responsibilities:

• Operating Counterbalance FLTs (B2 licences required)
• Loading and unloading lorries and trailers
• Moving goods and materials safely around site
• Using handheld scanners and warehouse databases to track stock and maintain accurate inventory records
• Supplying raw materials to the production lines and removing finished products
• Ensuring work areas remain tidy and compliant with safety standards
• Following clear operational procedures and reporting to line supervisors

Requirements:

• Valid in-date FLT licences (B2 Counterbalance)
• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment
• Experience using hand scanners and stock databases/WMS systems
• Ability to safely load/unload large vehicles
• A proactive, reliable, and safety-focused work ethic
• Good communication and teamworking skills

please note a b2 license is a forklift truck with a lifting capacity over 5,000kg and up to 15,000kg.
