Job Title: Primary Teaching Assistant

Full/Part-time: Flexible
Salary: £95 - £110 per day

About the role/school
We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable Primary Teaching Assistants to work in mainstream primary schools in Newham.

The role is flexible, allowing you to choose your own work patterns, and may include 1:1 support or classroom-based duties depending on the needs of the school.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates with experience working with children who want a varied role in a supportive school environment.

Job Responsibilities

  Support pupils in their learning and social development.

  
  


• 
  

  Assist teachers with classroom activities and preparation of resources.

  
  


• 
  

  Provide 1:1 or small-group support where required.

  
  


• 
  

  Monitor pupils' progress and provide feedback to teachers.

  
  


• 
  

  Help create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

  
  

Qualifications/Experience

• 
  

  Experience working with children in a professional setting - essential.

  
  


• 
  

  Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service, or willingness to apply.

  
  


• 
  

  Patience, adaptability, and strong interpersonal skills.

  
  


• 
  

  Right to work in the UK.
