Full/Part-time: Full-time
Salary: £180 - £230 per day (dependent on experience)


About the role/school
We are working with a welcoming mainstream primary school in Waltham Forest to recruit an enthusiastic and skilled KS2 Teacher.

This is a full-time role running from ASAP until July 2026, providing an excellent opportunity for teachers to make a real impact in the classroom.


Applications from Early Career Teachers (ECTs) are very welcome, and the school provides a supportive environment for professional development alongside experienced colleagues.


Job Responsibilities




  • Plan and deliver engaging lessons across KS2 in line with the National Curriculum.




  • Create a positive, inclusive, and well-managed classroom environment.




  • Assess, monitor, and support pupil progress effectively.




  • Adapt teaching to meet the needs of all learners, including SEND and EAL pupils.




  • Work collaboratively with colleagues, support staff, and school leadership.




  • Maintain high expectations for learning, behaviour, and achievement.




Qualifications/Experience




  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or relevant teaching qualification.




  • Experience teaching KS2 pupils (ECTs encouraged to apply).




  • Strong classroom and behaviour management skills.




  • Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service.




  • Right to work in the UK.
