Job Description:

Multi-Skilled Operative (Counterbalance Forklift) – Manufacturing

We are currently seeking reliable and hardworking Multi-Skilled Operative with Counterbalance Forklift licences to join a busy cable manufacturing environment.

This is a hands-on role involving machine operation, forklift work, and manual tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating winding machinery and monitoring production
• Winding cable products onto reels
• Loading and unloading using a Counterbalance forklift
• Moving cable reels around the factory and warehouse
• Cutting and preparing cable lengths to customer requirements
• Completing basic paperwork and log sheets
• Carrying out quality checks during production
• Maintaining a clean and safe working environment

Shift Pattern:

Rotating Days & Nights:

• 6:00am – 6:00pm / 6:00pm – 6:00am
• 4 Nights, 3 Off
• 3 Nights, 4 Off
• 4 Days, 3 Off
• 3 Days, 4 Off

Pay:

• £12.21 – £13.34 per hour

Requirements:

• Valid Counterbalance Forklift licence (ITSAAR or RTITB)
• Minimum 2 years’ forklift experience
• Previous manufacturing experience preferred
• Ability to complete basic paperwork
• Good attention to detail
• Flexible and reliable team player
