AQUMEN Recruitment is proud to be recruiting for a skilled Multi-Skilled Maintenance Engineer on behalf of a well-established manufacturing business based in Bingley.

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a stable production environment where you’ll play a key role in maintaining machinery reliability, supporting production output, and ensuring a safe working environment across the site.

⭐ The Role

You will be responsible for maintaining machinery, facilities, and site safety systems to support efficient production operations and minimise downtime.

Key responsibilities include:

• Responding quickly and effectively to production machinery breakdowns
• Carrying out planned preventative maintenance activities
• Ensuring machinery and factory areas remain safe for use
• Inspecting safety devices including guards, alarms, sensors, and exits
• Isolating unsafe machinery or work areas where required
• Supporting continuous improvement and reliability initiatives
• Coordinating maintenance planning with supervisors and site leadership
• Monitoring contractors and visitors to ensure safe working standards
• Maintaining accurate maintenance records and compliance documentation
• Supporting site Health & Safety and BRC requirements
• Keeping workshop areas organised and audit-ready at all times

About You

AQUMEN Recruitment is keen to speak with engineers who:

• Are fully qualified to carry out maintenance engineering work
• Ideally hold electrical qualifications (preferred)
• Have experience within a manufacturing or production environment
• Are proactive problem-solvers with strong fault-finding ability
• Work safely and follow structured maintenance procedures
• Are self-motivated and reliable
• Are willing to participate in alternating evening call-out cover

Working Hours & Benefits
