Site Manufacturing Manager - Medical Devices - Oxford

Site Manufacturing Manager - Medical Devices - Oxford

Newton Colmore is working exclusively with a pioneering medical device company in Oxford that is entering a major scale‑up phase.

We are seeking a Site Manufacturing Manager who will take full ownership of day‑to‑day operations, long‑term site performance and the continued expansion of a rapidly growing production facility.

The technology you will help deliver has the potential to transform patient outcomes around the world, and the organisation is looking for a leader who can ensure the site operates safely, efficiently and in full compliance with regulatory expectations.

You will have previously managed a manufacturing site or a significant production function within a regulated environment, specifically within medical devices.

The product incorporates electronic components, so familiarity with electromechanical or electronic medical technologies would be advantageous, though not essential.

In this position, you will be responsible for leading all manufacturing operations, overseeing production planning and resource allocation, and ensuring that output consistently meets quality, safety and regulatory standards.

You will play a central role in shaping the culture of the site, driving continuous improvement initiatives and providing hands‑on leadership to a growing team.

Because of the nature of the work and the need to support colleagues directly on the production floor, this is a fully on‑site role with no hybrid or remote options.

The company is well funded, having secured record levels of investment at a time when many organisations have struggled.

This creates a rare combination of cutting‑edge technology, long‑term stability and clear opportunities for progression as the site continues to expand.

Alongside the opportunity to contribute to a transformative medical technology, you will receive an excellent starting salary, private healthcare, income protection, life assurance, a pension scheme and a generous holiday allowance.

Interest in this position is expected to be high.

If this opportunity aligns with your experience and ambitions, we encourage early applications.
