Hours: Monday to Friday, rotating shifts

Aqumen Recruitment is currently recruiting General Operatives on behalf of a well-established manufacturing and supply business based in Ossett, WF5.

As a General Operative, you will play an important role in supporting the production of high-quality tiling products, helping to ensure goods are manufactured, checked, and prepared efficiently and safely.

The Role

Duties will include:

• Assisting with manufacturing, production, and assembly processes
• Operating machinery safely in line with site procedures
• Handling materials and supporting the smooth flow of production
• Carrying out basic quality checks on finished products
• Reporting any issues or defects to the relevant team member
• Keeping your work area clean, safe, and organised
• Working as part of a team to meet production targets and deadlines
• Following health and safety guidance at all times

Shift Pattern

This role works Monday to Friday on a 3-week rotating shift pattern:

• Week 1: 06:00 – 14:00
• Week 2: 14:00 – 22:00
• Week 3: 22:00 – 06:00

Shift patterns may vary depending on company requirements, so flexibility is required.

• Comfortable with manual handling and working on their feet
• Able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment

• Willing to learn and follow instructions

• Experienced in manufacturing, production, or factory work, although this is preferred rather than essential
