This company is a well-established commercial vehicle specialist supporting fleet operators and transport businesses across the UK.

Due to continued growth, they are now looking for a motivated mechanic from a car background who is keen to develop into HGV diagnostics, servicing, and repairs within a busy, professional workshop environment.

Your role as a Mechanic will include:

* Servicing, maintenance, and repairs of commercial vehicles and HGVs


* Supporting diagnostics and fault finding on heavy vehicles


* Working alongside experienced HGV technicians to develop new skills


* Carrying out inspections, safety checks, and workshop duties


* Learning manufacturer standards and commercial vehicle systems


* Gaining hands-on training across a wide range of HGV equipment

The successful Mechanic will have:

* Background as a car technician / automotive technician / vehicle mechanic


* Level 2 or Level 3 qualification in Vehicle Maintenance & Repair (or equivalent)


* Strong mechanical and electrical fault-finding skills


* Willingness to learn and progress into HGV / commercial vehicle work


* Full UK driving licence


* Live commutable to Nottingham or surrounding areas
