Driver

We are seeking a 3.5t Delivery Driver for an ongoing agency contract based in Greater London.

This role involves collecting and delivering construction materials and tools from various suppliers to active sites across Central and Greater London.

Start Date: Immediate
Rate: £18.00 per hour
Hours: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM (9.5 hours paid per day)
Flexibility Perk: Most days deliveries finish by 4:00 PM, allowing you to head home early while still being paid the full 9.5 hours.

(Occasional early starts may be required to accommodate 7:30 AM site drops, with finishes adjusted to suit).
Overtime: Optional Saturday overtime paid at x1.5 rate (subject to workload).

Location: Greater London (Must be locally based)
Duties:

• Operating a 3.5t Ford Transit Flatbed (Medium Wheelbase) with a tail lift.


• Loading, transporting, and delivering tools and building materials to busy sites across London.


• Parking the commercial vehicle safely at your home address during the week (Strictly for work use only; personal use is prohibited).


• Completing periodic, mandatory FORS online training modules to maintain company accreditation.

Requirements:

• Essential: Full, clean UK Driving Licence.


• Essential: A recent pass result for a Drug & Alcohol (D&A) test.


• Essential: Must live locally in Greater London and have a suitable/safe space to park a 3.5t Transit Flatbed at home (Company is happy to contribute to parking permits where required).


• Essential: Access to an email address and a PC/Laptop at home to complete mandatory FORS modules.


• Excellent communication skills with a good understanding of written and spoken English.
