Senior Electronics Engineer - LiDAR Systems

Newton Colmore is working with a leading technology innovator in St Gallen, and we are searching for an experienced electronics engineer to join their research team.

As a senior electronics engineer in this company, you will hold responsibility for the design and development of new ideas, from designing complex FPGA circuitry, through to writing firmware for embedded applications.

This company make novel technologies for data acquisition, tracking and processing, utilising a variety of applications and they are looking for an engineer with a strong interest in this area and someone who enjoys solving complex engineering problems.

You will be responsible for the entire design process, from initial idea, through several iterations and then ensuring the product is ready for manufacturing.

The company are open to candidates with varying degrees of experience, and so they are offering tailored salaries, to ensure they find the right person for the role.

There is also a high level of training and development on offer, so this role is perfect for an engineer who is coachable and adaptable to learn new skills.

In terms of your skillset, we are ideally looking for someone with strong experience with VHDL design for FPGA circuits, mixed with Python and Linux knowledge with embedded systems.

If you have additional experience with LiDAR systems, and analogue / RF electronics this would be beneficial to your application.
