About the role and school

We are seeking a Nursery Teacher to join an inclusive primary school in Waltham Forest from September.

This Nursery Teacher role is ideal for a practitioner passionate about early childhood development, communication and language, and play-based learning.

The successful Nursery Teacher will join a strong EYFS team committed to delivering engaging learning experiences.

As a Nursery Teacher, you will support pupils in developing confidence, independence and a love of learning from the very beginning of their educational journey.

This Nursery Teacher position offers the opportunity to work within a supportive environment where creativity and child-centred learning are highly valued.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging EYFS learning as a Nursery Teacher


• Support communication and language development


• Create stimulating learning environments


• Monitor progress and adapt provision accordingly


• Work closely with parents and support staff


• Promote positive outcomes as a Nursery Teacher

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• Experience within EYFS desirable


• Strong understanding of the EYFS framework


• Excellent communication skills


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
