An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Yard FLT Counterbalance Driver to join a well-established food manufacturing business based in Ossett.

Working as part of the Yard Team, you'll play a key role in keeping site operations running smoothly.

This position involves operating a Counterbalance FLT, moving stock and materials around the yard, loading and unloading vehicles, and supporting general yard activities.

As the role is predominantly yard-based, candidates must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions.

Working Hours:

• 
  

  Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 16:00 (core hours)

• 
  

  Flexibility required to provide holiday cover across other shift patterns, including nights and rotating shifts

• 
  

  Candidates must be willing to support both day and night shifts when required

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  

  Safe operation of a Counterbalance FLT

• 
  

  Loading and unloading deliveries

• 
  

  Moving stock, pallets and materials around the yard

• 
  

  Supporting general yard and site duties

• 
  

  Carrying out manual handling tasks where required

• 
  

  Maintaining high standards of health and safety at all times

• 
  

  Working effectively as part of the Yard Team

Requirements:

• 
  

  Valid FLT Counterbalance Licence (essential)

• 
  

  Previous Counterbalance FLT experience preferred

• 
  

  Comfortable working outdoors throughout the year

• 
  

  Ability to lift up to 25kg

• 
  

  Strong awareness of health and safety procedures

• 
  

  Reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast-paced environment

• 
  

  Willingness to provide cover across alternative shift patterns when required

Pay Rate:

• 
  

  £13.69 per hour
