About the role and school

We are seeking a Year 5 Teacher to join a high-achieving and supportive primary school in Westminster from September.

This Year 5 Teacher role is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated practitioner who is passionate about raising attainment and preparing pupils for upper Key Stage 2.

The successful Year 5 Teacher will join a well-established KS2 team within a school that places a strong emphasis on academic excellence, pupil wellbeing and inclusive teaching practice.

As a Year 5 Teacher, you will benefit from structured planning, strong leadership support and a positive learning environment.

This Year 5 Teacher position would suit an experienced teacher or confident practitioner who enjoys delivering challenging and engaging lessons across the curriculum.

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality lessons as a Year 5 Teacher


• Plan, prepare and assess learning effectively


• Support pupil progress and attainment


• Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement


• Work collaboratively with staff and leadership


• Contribute to wider school initiatives as a Year 5 Teacher

Qualifications/Experience

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)


• KS2 experience desirable


• Strong understanding of the curriculum


• Excellent behaviour management


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
