Are you an experienced Teaching Assistant looking for a rewarding opportunity in Acton, Ealing from September 2026? Teach Plus is working with a welcoming primary school seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant to support pupils within EYFS.

This full-time Teaching Assistant role involves planning engaging learning activities, delivering high-quality Phonics sessions, and leading targeted EYFS intervention groups to help children develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in their early education.

Job Responsibilities

• Support the class teacher in delivering engaging EYFS lessons and learning activities.


• Plan and deliver targeted Phonics interventions for small groups of pupils.


• Lead additional EYFS intervention groups to support children's academic and social development.


• Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to the class teacher.


• Create a positive, inclusive, and stimulating learning environment for all children.


• Build positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents to support children's development.

Qualifications/Experience

• Experience as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role


• Experience working in EYFS within a primary school


• Strong Phonics knowledge relevant to the role


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
