Optometrist Job - Consett, County Durham

£55,000 to £60,000 DOE + Benefits
Full Time | 9:00am to 5:30pm (Mon-Fri) | 9:00am to 4:00pm (Sat) | Some Flexibility with Saturdays | 25-30 Minute Test Times | OCT

Zest Optical are working alongside a highly regarded independent Opticians in Consett to recruit a full-time Optometrist.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a busy independent practice with a fantastic reputation for delivering high quality patient care.

The practice has two testing rooms, operates six days a week, and has built an outstanding local reputation, reflected in its excellent patient reviews.

Optometrist - The Role

• Full-time position


• 9:00am to 5:30pm Monday to Friday


• 9:00am to 4:00pm on Saturdays


• Some flexibility with Saturday working


• 25-30 minute eye examinations


• Clinical freedom to provide the highest standard of patient care


• Well-equipped testing rooms with OCT, fundus camera and phoropter


• Pre-screening completed by the experienced support team


• Contact lens clinics


• Opportunity to provide enhanced services


• Work closely with the Dispensing Optician and support team to ensure a seamless patient journey

The Practice

• Fully qualified Optometrist registered with the GOC
