Practice Manager
A new opportunity has become available for a Dental Practice Manager to join an established, fully private practice located in Milton Keynes.
Start date – As soon as possible.
The Role
As Dental Practice & Performance Manager, you will lead the day-to-day performance of the practice, with accountability across people, patients, processes, performance and profitability.
This is a full-time role that will require you to possess great people skills, have strong attention to detail,
You will:
- Lead, develop and inspire a multi-disciplinary team
- Set clear expectations and actively manage team performance
- Monitor and act on key KPIs including utilisation, conversion, and revenue
- Drive treatment plan uptake through strong TCO support and patient journey optimisation
- Oversee diary management to balance productivity and patient experience
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory standards, including CQC
- Manage cost control, stock, and budget oversight in line with business targets
- Take ownership of operational processes, identifying risks and driving improvements
- Handle patient feedback and complaints with professionalism and care
- Support local growth initiatives including marketing and community presence
You will bring a structured, proactive approach, with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make clear, fair decisions.
What We’re Looking For
Experience & Background
- Minimum 5+ years’ management experience in a healthcare, dental, or multi-site environment
- Experience managing teams of 5+ direct reports
- A management of related qualification (Preferred)
- Previous experience in a dental or private healthcare setting (Preferred)
- Exposure to KPIs, performance management, and commercial targets
- Strong understanding of practice-level financials (P&L, cost control, revenue drivers)

- Confident, credible leader who can motivate and challenge teams
- Strong understanding of different leadership styles and when to apply them
- Experience handling HR matters, performance issues, and team development
- Ability to translate business goals into clear actions for the team

- Able to manage and resolve patient concerns effectively
