CNC Operator
A leading oil and gas engineering company is looking for an experienced Machinist to support safe, efficient and reliable manufacturing operations.
You will set up, operate and maintain lathes and CNC machines to produce electrical connector components to specification.
The role involves machine maintenance, quality inspection, fault finding and continuous improvement activities within a busy machine shop environment.
Key responsibilities
Set up and operate machines safely and efficiently
Maintain equipment and report faults or deviations
Inspect components to ensure quality and accuracy
Follow production schedules and safety procedures
Participate in shop floor and toolbox meetings
Key Skills
Previous machine shop experience
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Mechanical engineering qualification
Basic CNC programming experience
