Production Operative – Pocklington

£13.43–£15.45 per hour | No Weekends | Temp-to-Perm Opportunities

Aqumen Recruitment is recruiting Production Operatives on behalf of a well-established international manufacturing business based in Pocklington.

This is a hands-on, physically active production role with excellent temp-to-perm opportunities for reliable candidates looking for stable, long-term work.

Previous manufacturing experience is useful, but not essential, as training will be provided.

Rotating Shift – £15.45 per hour

• Week 1: Monday–Friday, 06:00–14:00
• Week 2: Monday–Thursday, 13:45–23:45
• No weekends

Fixed Day Shift – £13.43 per hour

• Monday–Friday, 08:00–16:00
• No weekends

A key part of the job involves manually lifting and emptying 25kg bags of raw ingredients into production vessels, so you must be comfortable carrying out regular physical work.

Other duties will include:

• Basic machine operation
• Carrying out quality checks
• Preparing and handling production materials
• Keeping work areas clean, tidy and safe
• Following chemical, process and site safety procedures
• Supporting different production areas when required

We’re looking for candidates who:

• Are comfortable regularly handling 25kg bags
• Have a strong awareness of health and safety
• Are reliable, punctual and have a positive attitude
• Are willing to learn and follow instructions
• Can work the shift pattern they apply for
• Work well as part of a team

Previous experience in manufacturing, production, warehousing, agriculture, construction or other physically demanding work would be beneficial, but is not essential.
