Operations Manager

Blackedge Consulting is looking for a commercially driven Operations Manager to lead, develop and grow our specialist team while continuing to build and bill their own desk.

We provide highly skilled technical talent for controlled and regulated environments across data centres, semiconductors, batteries, specialty chemicals, power and energy.

You'll lead from the front coaching consultants, driving team performance, developing new business and building lasting relationships with key clients.

We're looking for a proven biller with leadership experience, strong commercial instincts and the ambition to take greater ownership of a growing specialist business.

What are we looking for?

• Proven success in permanent or contract recruitment, with a strong personal billing record


• Experience managing a team or senior team leadership experience with the ambition to step into an Operations Manager role


• The ability to lead from the front while developing and billing your own desk


• Experience coaching consultants, managing performance and supporting individual development plans


• Strong commercial awareness, including revenue forecasting, target setting and identifying growth opportunities


• A track record of winning new business and developing lasting client relationships


• A confident, accountable and proactive leadership style


• The ambition to grow a specialist team and contribute to the wider success of Blackedge Consulting
