DENTAL PRACTICE MANAGER - MANCHESTER (Wythenshawe)

We are a thriving, well-established dental practice committed to providing exceptional patient care.

We are seeking an experienced, proactive Dental Practice Manager to lead our team, oversee daily operations and help drive the continued growth of the practice.

•Available asap
•3 days a week (Days to be agreed, Mondays and Thursdays required with 3rd day of work to be discussed)
•8.50am - 5.30pm working hours
•£16-19 PH pay rate

Practice information:
Mainly NHS 2 surgery practice computerised using Dentally software and digital x-rays.

Car parking available and tram nearby.



The Role:
You will be responsible for the smooth and efficient running of the practice, maintaining high standards of patient care, compliance, team performance and financial management.

This is a key leadership position requiring excellent organisation, communication and problem-solving skills.

Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee the day-to-day running of the practice
• Lead, support and develop the dental and administrative teams
• Manage staff rotas, holidays, scheduling and workload planning
• Maintain compliance with CQC, GDC, NHS and other relevant requirements
• Lead on health and safety, risk management and quality assurance
• Monitor budgets, billing, banking and financial performance
• Improve systems and processes to increase efficiency
• Support recruitment, onboarding, training and performance reviews
• Manage patient concerns professionally and effectively
• Liaise with laboratories, suppliers and external partners
• Support marketing, growth initiatives and the practice’s long-term development

About You:
• Previous experience as a Dental Practice Manager is essential
• Strong knowledge of dental compliance and practice operations
• Confident leading, motivating and holding a team accountable
• Highly organised, proactive and able to manage competing priorities
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Comfortable managing budgets and monitoring performance
• Confident using IT systems and dental practice-management software
• Committed to delivering an excellent patient experience
• Able to identify problems and implement practical solutions
• Dentally and Dental Compliance trained (desirable)
