This is an ideal opportunity for an electrician who wants to move into testing or an experienced Electrical Tester looking for a company where they can settle in for the long term, increase their earnings and progress their career.


Working across domestic and commercial properties, you'll carry out EICRs, testing and remedial works on established social housing and council contracts.

You'll have independence in your day-to-day role while being backed by a secure and supportive business.


Your Role As An Electrical Tester Will Include:


  • Carrying out fixed wiring testing and EICRs across domestic and commercial properties




  • Completing remedial works at the time of testing




  • Working on follow-up remedial and rewire programmes




  • Fault finding and electrical diagnostics




  • Liaising professionally with tenants and clients




  • Ensuring all work meets current electrical and safety regulations




  • Regular overtime opportunities allowing you to earn £55,000+




As An Electrical Tester You Will Need:


  • Level 2 / Level 3 electrical qualification




  • 2391 Testing & Inspection




  • 18th Edition Wiring Regulations (C&G 2382)




  • Experience within electrical testing OR the desire to develop a career within EICR testing




  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic ability




  • Good communication and customer service skills




  • Full UK driving licence




  • Willingness to travel throughout the local area
