About us

We are an established and growing building services provider specialising in insurance repairs, property restoration and maintenance works across Norfolk and Suffolk.

Our teams coordinate and carry out a wide range of works within domestic properties, often following insured incidents.

Maintaining high standards of health and safety, compliance and record keeping is therefore an important part of everything we do.

As our business continues to grow, we are looking for an organised and proactive Health and Safety Administrator to join our team at our Rackheath office.

About the role

This is a varied administrative position where you will provide day-to-day support across health and safety and compliance.

You will help ensure records, documentation and certification remain accurate and up to date, while supporting colleagues with the administration required to maintain safe and compliant working practices.

The role will involve working with different areas of the business, so you will need to be comfortable following up information, keeping on top of deadlines and ensuring documentation doesn't get overlooked.

You don't necessarily need to be a Health and Safety Manager or Adviser.

We are equally interested in hearing from strong administrators who have worked within health and safety, compliance, construction, property or another regulated environment and would like to develop further in this area.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Maintaining health and safety records, files and documentation
  • Supporting the preparation and administration of risk assessments and method statements
  • Monitoring renewal and expiry dates and following up outstanding documentation
  • Supporting accident, incident and near-miss recording
  • Assisting with health and safety checks and internal compliance processes
  • Maintaining records relating to policies, procedures and safe working practices
  • Helping ensure relevant documentation is available to employees and trades
  • Liaising with colleagues, contractors and external contacts where required
  • Producing and updating spreadsheets, trackers and reports
  • Ensuring information held on company systems remains accurate and current
  • Providing general administrative support across health and safety and compliance

  • Maintaining employee and contractor training and certification records

Skills and Experience

You should be organised, methodical and comfortable taking responsibility for keeping important records and documentation up to date.

Ideally, you will have:

  • Previous administration experience
  • Exposure to health and safety, compliance or a regulated working environment
  • Strong organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Confidence maintaining records, spreadsheets and documentation
  • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office
  • Ability to manage deadlines and prioritise your workload
  • Clear and professional communication skills
  • Confidence following up information with colleagues and external contacts
  • A proactive approach and willingness to learn

Experience within construction, property maintenance, insurance repairs or building services would be advantageous but isn't essential.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to build on their administrative experience and become an important part of a growing business where health, safety and compliance are taken seriously.
