Zest Optical recruitment is working on behalf of a well-regarded independent opticians group to recruit a part-time Optometrist for their established practice in Cricklade.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a thriving independent practice with a loyal patient base and a strong focus on providing personalised eye care.

The practice offers 45-minute eye examinations, giving you the time and clinical freedom to understand each patient's needs and recommend the most appropriate solutions for their lifestyle.

You will work four days per week across a two-week rota, including alternate Saturdays.

Optometrist - Role

• Well-established independent opticians


• Loyal patient base


• Supportive and collaborative practice team


• 45-minute eye examinations


• Time to provide thorough, personalised eye care


• Access to modern diagnostic equipment


• Latest developments in contact lenses, spectacle lenses and frames


• High level of clinical freedom


• Build long-term relationships with patients


• Recommend the most appropriate solutions based on each patient's needs and lifestyle


• Four days and 32 hours per week


• Practice hours from 9am to 5:30pm


• Week one: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday


• Week two: Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday

Optometrist - Requirements

• Fully qualified Optometrist


• Registered with the GOC


• Previous experience working as an Optometrist


• Strong focus on clinical care


• Confident conducting thorough 45-minute eye examinations


• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills


• Passionate about building long-term relationships with patients


• Committed to providing personalised advice and recommendations
