Machine operative

We’re hiring a Machine Operator on behalf of our clients manufacturing site in Wakefield.

Must be flexible to work 6am–2pm or 7am–3pm.

Role includes:

• Operating machinery and keeping production running smoothly
• Removing finished products from the line
• Packing, labelling, and completing basic paperwork
• Carrying out visual quality checks
• Reprocessing waste using the waste picker
• Cleaning machinery and maintaining a tidy work area
• Following all Health & Safety procedures
• Working as part of a team to hit production targets

What we’re looking for:

• Previous machine‑operating or manufacturing experience preferred
• Good attention to detail and a proactive approach
• Reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work well in a team
