About the role and school

Teach Plus are currently working with a friendly and supportive primary school in Waltham Forest who are looking to appoint a dedicated KS2 Teacher for a November start.

The school is looking for a committed KS2 Teacher who can deliver engaging lessons, maintain high standards and build positive relationships with pupils.

You will join an established teaching team and work collaboratively with colleagues to provide a high-quality learning experience.

The successful KS2 Teacher will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons, assessing pupil progress and ensuring that all pupils are appropriately supported to achieve their potential.

This opportunity would suit an experienced KS2 Teacher who is looking for a new role within a supportive primary school.

Job Responsibilities

• 
  Plan and deliver engaging lessons across the KS2 curriculum.
  


• 
  Differentiate learning to meet the needs of all pupils.
  


• 
  Maintain high expectations for behaviour and achievement.
  


• 
  Assess pupil progress and adapt teaching accordingly.
  


• 
  Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment.
  


• 
  Support pupils with additional learning needs.
  


• 
  Work collaboratively with colleagues and support staff.
  


• 
  Build positive relationships with pupils and parents.
  


• 
  Contribute to the wider life of the school.
  


• 
  Follow safeguarding and school policies.
  

Qualifications/Experience

• 
  Qualified Teacher Status is essential.
  


• 
  Previous UK primary teaching experience.
  


• 
  KS2 experience is desirable.
  


• 
  Strong understanding of the primary curriculum.
  


• 
  Good classroom management skills.
  


• 
  Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  


• 
  Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
  


• 
  Passion for primary education.
