The company designs and manufactures specialist packaging machinery and automated production systems for customers across a range of industries, providing a varied and technically challenging environment for an Electrical Design Engineer who enjoys working on bespoke machinery and seeing projects progress from concept through to completion.

The Role of the Electrical Design Engineer Will Include:

  Electrical Design Role based in the Ferndown area

  
  


• 
  

  Designing electrical systems and control panels for bespoke packaging machinery and automated equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Producing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and detailed engineering drawings

  
  


• 
  

  Designing electrical systems for new machinery and modifications to existing equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Selecting electrical components and producing electrical design documentation

  
  


• 
  

  Working closely with mechanical, controls, production and commissioning engineers

  
  

  The Successful Electrical Design Engineer Will Have:

  
  


• 
  

  Previous experience within an Electrical Design Engineer or similar electrical engineering position

  
  


• 
  

  Experience designing electrical systems for machinery, automation or industrial equipment

  
  


• 
  

  Experience using electrical CAD/ design software

  
  


• 
  

  Strong understanding of electrical schematics, wiring diagrams and control systems

  
  


• 
  

  Good understanding of electrical components and manufacturing processe

  
  


• 
  

  Experience within packaging machinery, automation, special purpose machinery or manufacturing would be advantageous

  
  


• 
  

  Commutable to the site in Ferndown
