Are you a Structural Technician who enjoys working with complex geometry and pushing BIM beyond standard Revit modelling?

Do you have strong Rhino and Grasshopper experience and know how to create effective workflows between computational design and Revit?

Would you like to work on technically challenging structures where your BIM and computational design expertise can genuinely influence project delivery?

An established, design-focused engineering consultancy is looking for a Senior Structural Technician with strong computational design and BIM experience to join their Central London team.

This is an opportunity to work on complex structural projects, taking responsibility for sophisticated BIM models and helping develop efficient modelling workflows across the wider engineering team.

We are looking for:

- Has advanced experience with Rhino and Grasshopper;
- Can develop effective interoperability workflows between Rhino/Grasshopper and Revit;
- Has strong experience modelling complex 3D geometry, including curved, faceted and non-standard building forms;
- Can translate parametrically generated geometry into practical, accurate Revit-compatible elements;
- Has an excellent working knowledge of Revit Structure and structural BIM;
- Has experience managing large and complex Revit models;
- Understands BIM Execution Plans and appropriate levels of model information;
- Has experience coordinating multiple technicians working concurrently within large models;
- Understands model management, coordination and deliverable production best practices.

As The Successful Senior Structural Technician, You Will:

- Create and manage detailed, coordinated structural BIM models;
- Work with Rhino, Grasshopper and Revit to develop efficient computational design workflows;
- Model complex structural forms and translate challenging geometry into buildable BIM solutions;
- Manage large Revit models while maintaining accuracy, coordination and model performance;
- Work closely with structural engineers and other members of the design team;
- Help establish efficient modelling and BIM delivery strategies across projects;
- Support and coordinate other technicians where required;
- Play a key role in producing high-quality structural BIM deliverables.
